Congratulations to Mickaël Guérin, Dina Surdin 2025 Prize winner
Mickaël Guérin, 26 years old, holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC), where he defended his doctoral thesis in January 2025 within the CNRS laboratory UMR 7025 – Enzymatic and Cellular Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Séverine Padiolleau. His research focused on the selection of molecules targeting Borrelia burgdorferi with the aim of improving the diagnosis of Lyme disease, and resulted in several scientific publications as well as the filing of a patent.
