Dina Surdin award
Since 1981, the Dina-Surdin Foundation has funded a Prize awarded by the French Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to a young researcher in recognition of outstanding work.
Eligibility and selection criteria for the Dina Surdin Award
The candidate, a woman or a man under the age of 35 and a member of the SFBBM, must have defended their PhD no later than two years before the application deadline. They must not hold a permanent position.
The SFBBM Board of Directors is responsible, on behalf of the Foundation, for selecting the candidates.
The laureate receives the prize during the annual SFBBM congress. On this occasion, they give a lecture to present their scientific work.
